Announcement from Better Blood Use: Case 2 and Case 3

The final commentary for last week’s case (case two) has been posted. The patient presentation for this week’s case (case three) has been posted. Case 3 is a 56 year-old male patient with GI bleed and elevated INR (7.1) due to Coumadin. The hemoglobin fell from 11.6 gm/dL in the ER to 9.8 gm/dL post-admission. How should this patient be managed?
